Positive Behaviour Strategies

PBS Session 2

Positive Behaviour Strategies (PBS) is a programme for families of children with additional needs produced by our partners in Norfolk Community Health and Care and Family Action. It was developed originally to give group support to families of children who had been referred for assessment by a specialist team.

There are lots of videos, links and activities to support families. During the session you can pause at any time to take part in an activity below or watch a video clip.

This session will cover

  • The 'Bucket Model' of behaviour - we all carry an invisible bucket which can become overfilled. This session helps you to think about what overfills your child’s bucket and how to create holes in the bucket.
  • Identifying patterns and triggers.
