Mindfulness is a way of focusing on what is happening right now and taking a ‘break’ from stresses and worries. It is a skill that everyone can learn and benefit from. It is not hard to be ‘mindful’ but it does take a bit of practice.
Mindfulness is a good habit to have. Learning how to look after your mental health from childhood can make it easier to cope with worries and difficult times.
There are lots of mindfulness apps available but an adult should always check these before sharing with children. Remember to always monitor your child's use of apps.
